A very common myth. Cable boxes, at least from my local cable company didn’t have microphones or cameras. I’ve taken apart a number of them and found the absolute cheapest, bottom shelf, minimal viable components in them, which is why they broke all the time, but never once found a microphone or camera.

Looks great! I love the vibe it has because it reminds me of sets I built as a kid in the 80s and 90s. Can I ask, what pieces did you use for the trailer hitch? My nephew really likes building his own stuff, but he doesn’t have anything good to make a trailer hitch and I’m not sure what pieces would be best to get for him.
