The Guardian is one of the few British papers that isn’t utter dogshit but the way they’ve covered Arsenal this past week has been really disappointing to see.
No Arsenal fan is saying that we haven’t had poor refereeing decisions go in our favour because we have. Every team gets them from time to time. It’s so fucking weird to me that this is being framed as “Arsenal fans upset about things not going their way all the time” instead of “Arsenal fans upset that the best league in the world™ has some of the worst referees”.

Real Madrid are the perpetual main characters of the CL and they’ll probably add quite a few more to their 14 titles in the decades to come. I guess maybe City could do it but it’s a huge difference in titles and winning the CL is very difficult already.
