From what I’ve noticed, compared to my switch OLED I can’t notice the difference.

Yeah this happened to me today as well.
You won’t see it on Amazon, you need to go to Dbrands website. It is pricey but worth it.
The Jsaux one is also pretty good.
I always go for cases. The Dbrand Killswitch is the best case I’ve had, but the spigen one was also good.
Any screen protector will do in my opinion.
If you plan on playing it on an external display then a dock or at least a USB hub would be good.
A controller like an Xbox or Nintendo pro controller works really well, as SteamOS will actually detect the controller being used and change all the button prompts in the menu to match your controller.
Micro SD card is an essential pick for me, easy way for more storage. If you got the 1TB then that may not be such a priority though.
Maybe a mouse and keyboard for connecting it to a dock and external display. It is a PC after all and makes desktop mode much easier.
Fan isn’t too bad, unless you put something really demanding on there then of course it will heat up. No device of this caliber will be silent unfortunately, but if you have a desktop or laptop you can stream from it with little stress on the steam deck hardware.
Should be. Reach out to valve and see what they say, the worst they can say is no (Although I would be surprised.)
OLED is really good, you get a better screen, slightly better battery life and few other little things.
However,
Having owned both LCD and OLED I wouldn’t say the OLED is worth an extra 300. If you can afford it absolutely do it, but if you are conscious of money then the LCD will do very well for you. The only difference between the two is the screen and a few minor changes, the raw power of the device is equal.
Yes, ordered one day one, meant to come Friday but Parcelforce was being dumb and it arrived today.
