its like a michelan starred restaraunt. It used to mean something, but now cities can pay to be listed and then michelin will just happen to find a restaurant in said city that fits the bill. See st pete/tampa recently. none of those places belong anywhere near the list, but the marketing teams paid a lot.

I used to think it was a legit barometer to go off of until i read an article recently that said how st pete/tampas tourism departments paid to be listed. it makes so much sense now
