He sent a video message to my nephews class in school before the Spain game in Glasgow, one of the kids had sent him a letter saying he was his hero, the guy actually took the time and reached out to the kids parents before recording the video and gave the kid and his boys club a shout out. It’s just a little thing, a 45 second video but it shows a bit of class from the guy.
Same with Grealish he came across as a tool but pep has totally changed his attitude I think he thought he was too good for Villa and became arrogant, moving to Man City was a reality check and he seems like a good guy just needed the right people around him
Unfortunately this is the way it is now with the new super club model that Real Madrid and Chelsea started 20 years ago, I’m Scottish and it’s been 30 years since the title left the old firm and it looks like the premiership is heading in the same direction, only 7 teams winning the league in the 30 years (21 of them between 2 clubs) since the rebranding to the premiership in the 92-93 season Man United 14, Man City 7, Chelsea 5 Arsenal 3, Liverpool 1, Blackburn 1 and Leicester City 1
He blamed the grass being too long in Glasgow? If you watch the extended highlights of the game we could have scored 5 or 6 times with only 25-30% possession while Spain created very little despite having almost all of the the ball
