Only if its all black. Which obnoxiously LG “updated” their tvs with one that is like white words and fireworks and you can’t turn it off. So even though my pc sets it to an all black screen saver after 2min the stupid LG one starts like another minute later… asinine.
Bless you. Can’t wait for the OLED update. Watching it flicker more than the LCD on youtube reviews has given me reprieve from my upgrade lust.
As others have pointed out it would be helpful to see multiple frame caps too. But this seems like a lot of work so thanks for doing even one!
Yeah hopefully valve finds a proper fix for this soon.
The caveat is if you shutdown/restart it will reinstall the update. So sleep mode it is until this gets fixed for me. Its super simple though at least and you can donot again if you restart on accident. Here is a vid tutorial:
Could this be why I’m getting micro-stutter in some titles? I reverted back to 3.4.11 and it went away.

I did on my PC, but thats the issue. Since the update in July it now does its own screensaver (the fireworks and text) even if the PC’s all black one is already going. There is no way to change it. Maybe in the service menu? But another update I haven’t done yet supposedly blocks you from the service menu even with a service remote…
