I hate what we’re doing to Aaron and I’m not even his dad. I totally understand why he couldn’t hold his tongue. Arteta has made it clear he’s going to be ruthless and that nobody is safe, that every spot in the team is a competition and that there is no room for error if you want that spot.

I think Ramsdale will end up better than Raya but we almost won last year and we are showing this year it wasn’t a fluke. Arteta and management are going to do anything they can to improve any position, feelings be damned and I honestly don’t entirely blame them.The club messed with Ramsdale by playing him until he signed the contract and then switching to Raya immediately which just feels so dirty and I hate it. The club’s ideal scenario when they did this was obvious though, Raya to win now and ramsdale for the future. They hope he deals well with the adversity of getting dropped and takes it in stride, maybe they loan him out next season so he can develop and come back better than Raya or worst case they have to sell him for a profit. Raya will probably hit another gear in a couple years anyways and be pretty fucking good anyways so whatever. Just feels like I’ve lost a bit of respect no matter what for Arteta and the club for treating the man who got us here like this.

Pay attention to the fans and the one that sticks out like a sore thumb is absolutely hilarious!

So many reasons to love this guy. A home grown boy, great mentality but the reason I think I love him most is that I don’t think I really see him dive much compared to others. He wants to bully his way through and fight for a chance instead of crashing to the floor to maybe get the penalty. Just a consummate professional who plays the game the right way for me. Hope he uses this to really hit stride and be the next Ian Wright.
