  • 2008 though was a promising season. Nobody is saying after last season that Arteta should go as it was a real push for the title. I understand with the benefit of hindsight we know what happened after 2008 but that team was exiting then. Also you know Wenger did deserve loyalty at that time and the chance to build another team. I feel people the majority started to feel a change was needed in the last several years. I think it was in 2016 though when Leceister won the league when a lot of people lost hope





  • Are Spurs sort of like Arsenal last season? I am just starting to get a bit nervous. I remember everyone writing of the team saying there is no way this form will continue but the team kept winning mostly. They have that good feeling and positivity that the team had last season and that can help through a difficult run of fixtures. The same potential weaknesses can hit them like injuries, being very reliant on a small group of players so eventually running out of steam, inexperience. The team did keep it up until the final month and that is not easy so there is a long way to go.
