  • I’ll probably get downvoted into oblivion for saying this, but I can actually see something at Chelsea. Playing some decent football, just not scoring. Really irritates me when I hear a pundit say a team isn’t getting the results that their performances deserve (Everton had this at the start) but Chelsea fit that pretty well.

Whereas Ten Excuses doesn’t look to have taken the right steps to get United firing again. I get that there are injuries, but that squad is mentally weak and he has to take responsibility for that. Probably still won’t be first to go though. At least a couple of others are on far thinner ice.

  • Manchester United 0-1 Arsenal. 8th May 2002.

    Arsenal 4-0 Everton. 3rd May 1998.

Both games have iconic moments, with commentary that should be seared into every Arsenal fans brain.

    Everton 2-1 Arsenal. 19th October 2002.

    The arrival of Wayne Rooney.

New fans must also understand the painful matches. The 8-2 defeat to United. That one goal Danny Rose scored that tricked people into thinking he was good. The absolute murder at the hands of Bayern. Almost every game where we wore a Puma kit. Those were the dark days and you cannot support this club if you don’t appreciate just how good we have it today, after 20 years of decline.
