1 year agoI never considered the F80 M3 when I purchased the M340. M340 in stock form is already so close to the performance of the F80 M3 and for tens of thousands less (used versus used). Factor in maintenance costs and fuel economy (I’ve gotten 39 mpg for long highway stretches) and the pendulum swings further to the 340.
To be fair, I used to worship the M3’s of old (particularly the E46) and, being a bit older now, no longer crave the visual loudness of the M3 and prefer the sleeper factor of the 340. Especially with a JB4 tune 👌🏽
Either way trust you can’t go wrong, each car will bring smiles for miles!
Amen. I’ve gotten 39.7 mpg (according to the dash) for a 45 mile stretch of highway at 75 mph. LOVE the fuel economy of that little 3 litre 👍🏽👍🏽
