The steamdeck is not perfect. Takes a lot of optimization, or trying different routes to the play the games you want. Example: I am a Microsoft flight sim geek. Very very demanding game as far as cpu gpu. I first tried it on Win11. It worked okay, but very glitchy. Moved it to steamOS - much more stable but doesnt look as good. Not sure why that is.
I hear starfield SteamOS works ok so long as you’re not in cities.
Dead by daylight, i thought was a steam verified game? Can anyone else confirm?
Same issue here and I have two different controllers. XBOX (beat up pretty bad) and PS5 (like new). The XBOX controller is the most stable, and I enjoy it the most for games like Super smash, but also has more input lag.
The PS5 controller is less stable, but the track pad as my mouse is really cool. I use this controller for Microsoft Flight Sim because DPAD is in a much more preferable place for adjusting flaps and landing gears. This controller has almost zero lag, when it wants to work.
As for the HDMI cable: Ive noticed it makes a HUGE difference. I grabbed one off my old WiiU and the lag was atrocious. Switched it to the one the PS5 came with and it worked great. Ive been reading about upgraded fiber HDMI cords, but they’re a little pricey. If I was uber competitive, it might be a must have though. Ads say 20% reduction in lag.
Does anyone own one of these fiber HDMI cords and can confirm?
