I’d wager that a significant portion of people who buy these tablets do so because they’re planning on turning it into a regular android tablet.

To completely remove that portion of your customer base while also killing your own 3rd party app support seems like a suicidal move.

I wish the steam deck either had a physical keyboard, or had access to Android keyboards. The on screen keyboard on the steam deck kind of sucks in my opinion. I’d use the steam deck for more multimedia if the keyboard was text box aware across the entire operating system rather than just in the steam store. Pressing “Steam + X” is handy but doesn’t always work in game or on the desktop.
