@the_spc@fwoof.space That’s why there’s over 2500 priority queue members haha. Its only 20$ a month so if a person plans to play for longer than a day or two, it’s worth it to save the time.

@lianna@mastodon.gamedev.place for sure, I haven’t dove deep into all the different content packs and mostly have stuck to 2 or 3 of the Minecraft clone ones but that does sound frustrating and confusing.

These changes they’re making won’t fix that though as far as I can tell.

@Alien_Sunset@dice.camp I give out stuff at spawn to help others and yeah, those maparts arent mine. My map art only has a slur to deter people from using it.

The stashes thing is just a normal thing. There’s many servers where you can PVP and take peoples stuff. However, I don’t PVP and everything I take goes back to noobs at spawn and I don’t usually take stuff if I don’t know who’s it is. Everyone I’ve taken from so far, are these types of toxic assholes.

@Alien_Sunset@dice.camp I’m 32. I haven’t adopted that behavior and my group is trying to supress that kinda behavior on the server. It’s WAY less than it ever was on the server nowadays.

@LavenderPawprints haha! The “lore” of the server is actually so interesting and wild. It’s one of the main reasons I enjoy the server.

One of the biggest building groups on the server named Donfuer got “insided” this week and all their base coordinates leaked to the opposition because of a personal beef.

They had over a dozen big bases with nice builds and stuff. All that is left is rubble.

Things get kinda crazy, especially when people start being nice. When these things happen, there tends to be an event known as “incursion” where toxic players raid spawn and do as much damage as possible while the nice players act as the “resistance”.

There’s not been an incursion yet, but I fear we may cause one at some point.😬Oh well, we’ll fight the good fight if that time comes.

There’s a lot of resistance against being nice on that server, so it’s risky cause sometimes I feel like I’m being hunted, but it’s totally worth it to help people.

People there think that because of the servers toxic history, that it needs to stay that way, but I obviously disagree and will keep fighting against all toxicity that I can.

@xnx I certainly cannot. I’m on my own instance and there’s like 20,000 instances. Someone can *attempt* to yeet me. They’ll have a hell of a time getting admin privileges to all instances though.

UI is very subjective, but Reddit’s is not really enjoyed by the masses since it changed 5-10 years ago, so I’m guessing that these UIs are trying to appeal to those people who don’t like Reddits “new” corporate looking UI.🤷‍♂️
