COVID-19. The inflation that everyone hates was a result of COVID (and other knock-on effects like price gauging), and not all Biden’s fault. Biden has been cleaning up after Trump’s awful pandemic response, and it’s all Biden’s fault apparently, so let’s give the job back to the guy who messed it all up in the first place.

Everyone else has covered the important stuff, so I’ll just recommend that, especially if you have kids, you identify the local sledding hill and get a sled, snow pants, warm coat, snow boots, gloves and hat. If you’ve gotta live in it, make sure you enjoy it when it comes!
There are good reasons to not use a tube: tubes limit airflow over the mirror, increasing “mirror seeing”, and they add weight. But then you need an alternative way of rejecting off-axis light. One way of doing that is a dome or similar enclosure.
To be effective, it would have to be like a telescope tube, which is what you’re trying to eliminate in the first place.
