So, I bought a pc that I plan to use to run VMware on, it has a windows 10 pro license on it. Already checked and it’s a Retail License.

How could I save it for use in another machine or something? Can I use it in a VM if so, how many times before it doesn’t work? (I Understand that you can only use it in 1 machine at time).
Is there even a reason to want a VM with a license for a HomeLab environment?

Or

It just goes to waste.

    if you need a key for VMs just buy a VL key on ebay and reuse it. it’s like 10$
