The season has officially begun and the game schedule is empty, the standings reflect last season, the links to individual game threads at the top of the page are gone, etc. This is such basic and easy stuff. Even if you’re having trouble navigating API issues, it sure looked like there was a whole fleet of volunteers who were willing to manually update things by hand for the sake of the community when the call-out was made to the community last month.

We deserve better, and this community is willing to put in the work to make it better. What a joke of a shit show.

Then go help you whiny little bitch.

I seem to remember it being like this at the start of almost every season. Something changes with the bot, they ask for help and get it sorted a few weeks into the season.

We deserve better, and this community is willing to put in the work to make it better. What a joke of a shit show.

Entitlement is insane. You know the mods don’t get paid right?

You know what, that’s totally fair. I can have more patience.

Yes, of course I realize mods don’t get paid. What I was wondering (and I did a grumpy job of communicating) is if anything came of that call-out, or if there is any activity/plan in improving the sub features. I have not heard any follow-up announcement or seen any changes, and it’s frustrating to me that the season has begun without the site having a lot of really basic functionality. As you said, this happens every season, and I got the impression that there are a lot of vocal people here who would be willing to put in the time to help navigate those entirely predictable hiccups until the more permanent fixes are in place.

Sorry for coming out swinging, I’m stressed out but that’s not a good reason to be snappy toward others.
