Slew of bad (objectively bad) press, combined with the lowest watch rate in the NBA means people think the Hornets will not be good. I am here to deny this claim. Having watched every game for the past 4 seasons, I can tell you that distractions and potential injuries aside aside… we are a playoff team. LaMelo Ball averaged 23 7 and 7 last year on great efficiency from 3 and low efficency over all. We have Terry and Gordon healthy, Miles Bridges may or may not come back, Mark Williams is one of the premier paint protectors in the league, and most importantly drafted a guy who would be first overall in most drafts. When healthy, this roster minus Williams and Miller (and other minor players) were a play in team…. So how on earth are they last in almost every ranking? In the same way that you could argue that everything has to go right for us to make it to the yoffs, I argue the opposite everything would have to go wrong for us to miss it. A worse roster made the playins 2 and 3 years ago. Discuss!
