When he was at his peak in San Antonio during the 16’ and 18’ seasons he was a really underrated defender. I honestly think he should’ve made an All-Defense team in 18’
He was the most important defender on that team and we were the third best defense in the league. It’s actually crazy how hard he carried the 2018 spurs because he was by far the number one option on offense and our most important defender.
