If the Suns can get this kind of performance out of Okogie all season, they’re going to be a problem.
unironically big if, masked okogie last season gave us the same hope…
He’s such a baller. Goes 100% every second of every game. Hard not to love players like that.
He had a rough post season but Monty didn’t help by bringing him off the bench and confusing his confidence
Suns will be a problem regardless.
A lot of folks where writing them off after Ayton - Nurkić trade, but Nurkić is actually way better player for this Suns team.
Also their bench is not that bad as people claim to be, Eubanks, Watanabe, Allen and Gordon are solid backups.
They beat Warriors without Beal and with KD playing like shit.
On top of that, Booker looks in MVP mode.
Our bench improved drastically considering what a nightmare it was last year.
Yea, this team should be top 3 even in this year stacked West (if no major injuries occur) without much of a problem, I just dont see how will majority of teams deal with Booker, Durant and Beal, while their defence will be solid under Vogel.
I still think against teams with really good big perimeter players they are gonna have problems. Okogie at 6’4 being their primary wing defender is rough.
Warriors don’t have any guys like that
