But before the trade, Ruffles seeing the success of the Tatum ad campaign, reaches out for a sponsorship seeing fat Harden is one of their top customers. So he not only wins the 6ers one chip, but at least several bags. Embiid demands a trade.
Harden is still mad at Moray. Leaves anyway, Sixers get nothing in return.
Harden wins FMVP. Embiid gets jealous. Demands a trade to the Knicks.
The next season, Tobias, Randle and RJ Barrett are Sixers starters.
You can do better.
Harden leads Philly to a chip, but Tobias Harris shows out as the FMVP. He subsequently gets another max contract.
Harris wins FMVP despite Harden being unquestionably the best player on the team after Embiid tears his Achilles in Game 1. Harris gets a max contract, Harden also re-signs for a max deal but steeply declines, Embiid is never the same player again after missing a season to rehab.
I would think the Sixers easily take this outcome.
