Obviously almost everyone is looking forward to seeing their teams play again, but what are you looking forward to - in a bigger picture sense. There is a lot to be excited for this season:

  • Will the new in-season tournament amaze or agitate?
  • Will the Heat pull off another upset-filled post season?
  • Do the Nuggets have what it takes to win it all again?
  • Will the 76ers have a normal season for once?
  • Will Victor Wembanyama be revealed to actually be 3 children in a trench coat?

Anything is possible, and there are too many story lines to list here. What are you most excited for?

I’m kind of excited for the In-Season Tournament. I don’t know whether it’ll be super successful or not, but I have to give the NBA props for trying something different. NFL will always be king, but if this can catch on at all and be what the NBA hopes it can be, I think it’ll be dope for all of us as fans. I just hope the players are as bought in as Adam Silver says they are when he was on TNT.

The pistons but they will probably suck again. I’m excited for Cade, Ivey, Duren and Ausar to have good years.

Pistons have one of the deepest teams in the league. But without Bojan and Monte Morris it’ll be hard to win games.

I’m just real curious to see what we have. I could see this year being anything from missing the play ins to winning one playoff series. Most like scenario imo is a first round exit with a roughly .500 record, but it will be fun to see.

In more detail: can Obi actually play winning basketball? Can Ben improve his shooting and defense enough to be a first option? Can JW be our PF of the future and fill our holes with defense and rebounding? Can Hali be the franchise player that the FO thinks he is?

OKC has a dirty squad and I’m excited to watch them - SGA, Giddey, Jalen Williams, Chet…and I’ve still got a glimmer of hope for Poku.

The Pacers are really interesting as well - haliburton, brown, toppin, turner, mathurin. Not sure what will happen with hield, but I also like nembhard, jarace and even jalen smith still intrigues me though he’s probably going to fade away.

The Magic too! Fultz, franz, paolo and a bit of a logjam at guard, but black is an interesting prospect.

Excited to see if Cade Cunningham breaks out especially with some injuries reported out of Detroit already and they’ve got some interesting talent there with Duren and Thompson.

Houston as well - Sengun looking like a potential mini Jokic, green, jabari smith, thompson, whitmore and I think vanvleet is going to be huge to organize them a bit and brooks despite all his misgivings is a an experienced vet too.

And the blazers - Scoot, Shaedon, anfernee, Ayton, Jerami, Robert Williams off the bench, seriously intriguing core of young talent. Also wondering if they’ll flip Brodgon for some more talent.

Of course, equally intrigued by Dame and Giannis.

Excited to see Scottie Barnes running pg more often, a potential breakout from OG.

Intrigued to see Devin V from SAS flying under the radar with the Victor hype and Sochan potentially running point guard. Also hoping we seeing a healthy Zach Collins this year because he really can ball.

Intrigued by the ascension of Anthony Edwards and Jaden Mcdaniels who just got paid.

Excited to see a poole party with Washington and what kind of season we’ll see from Tyus stepping into a starting role and Kuzma potentially going off.

Wondering if Ben Simmons will reemerge and if Claxton has peaked.

Intrigued by the Lauri, John Collins, Walker Kessler situation in Utah.

Hoping to see a healthy season from Lamelo Ball.

And curious if the Knicks make a big move for a franchise player bc Jalen Brunson is the real deal.
