My pick is Anthony Edwards. He’s great, but people talking about MVP potential need to slow it down.

      For sure, first team All NBA literally puts you in the top tier, and SGA being so young just adds to the hype. He’s not the best player in the league, but he’s certainly one of the best players in the league and has the ability and time to get even better. It’s hard to overhype that type of potential.

      Idk why you’d come to this post and get so defensive…it was obvious SGA was going to be a common choice here. The main points seem to be a) he has only put up elite stats for 1 season and b) he hasn’t really had the chance to show out in the playoffs.

      No one is saying he isn’t great, just that most other players have to do these things as a right of passage before being crowned as a superstar.
