I averaged out the placements for the top player on these lists. Here is the top 10 players in the NBA and their average placements. I did this mostly for myself to look back at at the end of the season, but I thought i’d share it anyway.
-
Giannis Antetekoumpo (1.75)
-
Nikola Jokic (2)
-
Luka Doncic (3)
-
Stephen Curry (4.25)
T5) Joel Embiid (5)
T5) Jayson Tatum (5)
-
Kevin Durant (7.25)
-
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (8.25)
-
Devin Booker (10)
-
Jimmy Butler (11.25)
LeBron James and Anthony Davis (both averaged placement was 11.5) just missed the cut
Why are people so upset over Giannis over Jokic? Anyone saying it’s not a debate is insane. I swear people only started watching basketball last year
When they both retire, it will be a debate. In six months, it will be a debate. Right now, I don’t see how you can look at what Jokic did in the post-season and not say he’s the best player in the world.
He did the thing. Giannis lost in the first round.
I joined Reddit during the pandemic so I’m only about 3 years in but fandoms on here are insane. It’s not just Jokic… if you dislike something “popular” you’ll get swarmed and downvoted. People on here legitimately get mad if you don’t like what they like. You should see the responses I get when I say I don’t like The Office
One year ago people people were putting Giannis at the top and not Jokic. Jokic had the better season last year, but it’s definitely not an outlandish take given his ridiculous track record
dude… its not really that close.
Giannis is a dpoy and Jokic is at best average on that end how about that not being close lol
Its not even close.Seriously the actual 3 legit lists have him first. A fan poll popularity list that ranked him 4th this guy actually included.
