Was just looking up the stats for the Thompson twins since I think they’re both going to make a splash in the NBA over the next few years.
Turns out Amen (6’7 / 201cm) is taller than his IDENTICAL twin brother Ausar (6’6 / 198cm).
I didn’t even think this was possible since they have the same genetics and presumably had the same health and diet growing up.
there is something called epigenetics which means that 1 slight alteration in the DNA functioning could have affected either man positively or negatively
Yes this does mean that the height YOU (whoever you are reading this) could have been an inch or 2 taller or shorter depending on certain things that uniquely happened in your life
Perhaps that extra swimming triggered a growth spurt or perhaps your excessive love of cheese triggered a stop in the growth spurt…nobody knows for sure
