Pretty fair ranking.
Knicks are way too high, but the Top 5 are essentially correct.
Legit top 4
Here we go with another overhyped LA team that has done nothing to deserve it and will probably shit the bricks at some point.
If the Lakers are the 5th best team this year, that means there are 26 bad teams.
Suns at 4 rofl lmao.
Can’t wait for the warriors to win it all again.
It’s really funny to hear fans of other teams talk about the Heat because they are trying to make us think losing Max Strus is going to make us a worse team.
Losing two of your best rotation players for nothing is never good
Those dudes are warm bodies who are very replaceable. Max especially shot us out of so many games last season that he was often a net negative. Their departure has zero impact except for the fact that our dumbass FO has managed to leave a giant hole at PG but they don’t care much about that position anyway and again will find a warm body to stick there.
The copium
Idiots calling the Lakers a fringe playoff team with playoff woes. They literally beat the 2nd ranked team in the West last year in 5 games and then beat the previous reigning champions in 6. They were in the WCF and lost to the eventual champs by a total margin of 24 points. On average, the games were decided by 2-3 possessions. The fact that you’re trying to make them sound like some aspiring team like the Clippers or Knicks is just asinine.
And the 5 years prior they either lost in the 1st round or missed the playoffs completely. Without a global health disaster they don’t have a shot in 2020. The Lakers are ok but saying that they are the 5th best team in the NBA is beyond lunacy.
Lakers in top 5 is laughable
A WCF team last year with an 18-8 post deadline record, laugh all you want I guess
Lakers 5 lmao. They were the 7 seed last year. Congrats on that playoff run tho
they made wcf, that’s top 4
Regular season standings last year are better indicators of how well a team is rather than playoff runs.
Are the 55 games prior to the deadline with Russ who no longer players for the team a good indicator of the Lakers performance this season?
