The thing is he is way more plugged in than people realize. He knows a lot of stuff beforehand but can’t say it because of relationships or it’s a small percentage it doesn’t happen at all.
I don’t think Simmons is anywhere near as bad as he could be, considering he’s now a mega rich media mogul who could say whatever he wants. People want to act like he’s Skip, but I believe he’s still trying to give good info and reasonable takes. He’s popular because his whole shtick is being the slightly sophisticated everyman. Blue collar with just a crust of snobbery. Spewing bullshit hot takes isn’t his brand. He doesn’t have to do that to drive clicks. I find most of his takes on sports and pop culture to be reasonable or, at the very least, sincere.
bill is speaking out of his ass 99% of the time
No shit
He said the hornets would get sold when nobody else would and was the first Lebron to Los Angeles person I recall
yeha idk why people in here want to act like he isnt plugged in lol

He’s hella reasonable. Fans just get salty when he says something they don’t like.
Like Rockets fans any time Jalen Green gets mentioned
He doesn’t have anything reasonable to say about him.
He throws out all level of context with Green.
That’s not true. He’s said he likes Green a number of times. Fans just fall for the times he says something not good about him.
A lot of guys don’t think he’s that good as of now and that’s fair to say
He called the zombie heat so I’ll believe pretty much anything he says
Also was right about LeBron to the Lakers like a year in advance
