I know he doesn’t likely have the pace for it, but I’d love to see Zinny in the left 8 role. From there he could create without his risky passing immediately putting us on the back foot when it fails.
To play in the “left 8” you must be good at the half turn and an eye for a killer pass, just like what Cancelo did in Man City (He starts at LB but drifts to the left 8 position to be a creative outlet on the left, matching KDB on the right). Not saying Zinny can’t do it, but there must be some reason why both Arteta and Pep haven’t tried playing him there.
