Take the Spurs bit out of the equation, if any team is top of the league after 9 games, they should be setting their sights on staying there
Except that’s definitely not true for every team and definitely not Spurs.
I’m not saying I think they can win the league, I’m pretty confident they won’t. But if you’re a manager and your top after being a quarter of the way through the games, you’re setting your sights there
