It’s a shame that football is the most popular sport in the world. I love the game, but its a sport played by gits, watched by gits, organised by gits, sponsored by gits, and sometimes officiated by gits.
I think this is harmless and normal football culture, and Bobby would laugh to hear it.
I agree, Sir Bobby was a legend footballer, no mess with his name/ role/ History
People actually got offended by that?
Didn’t some set of fans do the same when the queen died? Not sure what happened to those folks
Bobby has more history than City 🤣🤣
Etihad does be empty enough as it is.
This sport is going downhill more and more everyday
Is it offensive to ask what they were chanting?
Sports are full of trash talk but it is just a game at the end of the day. When the talk goes beyond simple insults and instead is directed at the dead or violence, it should not be tolerated.
I think City is right to ban them as it is clear these people are incapable of keeping their heads on straight and understanding the limits of this game. We have too many man children in todays age
I would love them to play one home game with no home supporters
soft
Of all the players to revel in one’s death, you pick on the classiest most gentleman footballer that probably ever played in England.
Absolute tossers.
A first for City, who normally don’t seem to mind offensive chanting about tragic events
Well done. I have to say that City have tended to be fairly lax on banning fans for this sort of thing, so hopefully this is a sign of change.
In fairness to them, it would be very awkward if they tried to ban their own players and staff from the Ethiad
