Nothing more frustrating than reading about footballers making $50k and making it look like they’re on the edge of existence.
Good read, but it says two years ago she was struggling to make ends meet, yet she says she’s into property management but owns two houses?
I know women’s football earnings are a lot more ordinary than men’s but this sounds a bit like The Guardian acting like someone on 50k has the same financial struggles as someone on minimum wage.
Someone please think about the millionaires
This is a great article, and I appreciated hearing more about Mary’s:
- Mental fortitude to go from almost quitting football to Euro winning GK & star of WWC.
- Decision to go public about no GK kit being sold.
- Mission to make GK position ‘cool’.
why would they put something in shops that wouldn’t sell at the numbers they want or need to justify it?
How does that relate in any way, shape, or form to my personal enjoyment of an article about Mary’s experience on a bunch of topics, one of which was the GK kit situation & her thought process around her choices?
