should we include last season as well when Ramsdale was gifting forwards possession with the most errors in the league while Raya was quality for brentford or does that not fit the narrative.

We should look at this season where they’re competing for the same spot. And currently Ramsdale has made less errors!

oh so we should cherry pick from a smaller sample size where one goalkeeper faced objectively harder teams like city, spurs and chelsea while the other was bang average against mid-bottom table teams. got it.

Ramsdale plays Arsenal into trouble by playing loose passes and is a bit suspect for a few saves - “Ffs, get this guy out of the team, he’s costing us”

Raya plays Arsenal into trouble by playing loose passes and is a bit suspect for a few saves - “Ffs, he’s just doing what Mikel asked him to do. Calm down, he just needs time”

Not even hating on Raya particularly, just wish people were consistent

Ramsdale had two seasons worth of patience and time to develop before being dropped. You’re acting like Arteta abruptly dropped him. That he was given 2 seasons and Raya is being given 6 games before being written off completely speaks against your weird point.
