Think he deserves a chance now. If Arteta really meant that performances affect your chances, then Rammers deserves to play vs Sevilla and he will be out for a clean sheet to celebrate the birth of his son.
If he’s not playing either game this week then he never will unless it’s the FA cup or Carabao. I want him away at Sevilla. He can handle the atmosphere.

I agree, he should at least get the champions league group stage. I doubt he we will want to be 2nd choice for long, but he should be given a chance to show he can play out the back to Arteta’s liking well enough to unseat Raya.
100% agreed. Raya definitely does not look like an upgrade in the matches he’s gotten so far, nevermind one big enough to justify his potential huge fee at the end of the season
Raya has destabilised the defence overall. Which was always a risk.
