    This is going to sound insane now Absolutely insane

    (And I know it will sound reactionary due to recent performances)

    But can anyone see a future with Declan Rice as the captain? Obviously not now

    But in like 2-3 years…

      Not insane at all really, wouldn’t be surprised if Rice is in the captain group (lost track of this) by the start of next season, he probably won’t get the armband as long as Ødegaard is on the pitch though.

      For England, yes. But for club, maybe vice-captain.

      I think Ode is gonna be around the club for sometime, if we didn’t want him, we won’t have signed him after the first loan spell. Part of the decision to sign him on a permanent has to be linked with the club captaincy that Arteta wants.

      Rice has been putting in captain performances against the big teams, odegaard has gone missing against spurs, city and now Chelsea… when we need him most he’s no where to be seen… just like with Norway when they needed him for euro qualifiers. He’s a good player but the way people overrate him to world class and compare him to KBD is ridiculous
