What does Zina evolve to on this team? The true LB/RB profile is evolving. We will see more UCL teams with pacey wingers start to target him more. That was part of Chelsea’s plan yesterday.
I think that’s Timbers spot long term, but what does that mean for Zina long term? Do we move him central as a CM option? Not sure
Zinchenko was always bought as a stopgap. We wanted Lisandro for that position
I can’t wait to phase him out. We are missing that pacey but technical full back. If we could get someone like Nuno mendes or Alphonso Davies in the region of 50-60 million I would 100% do it.
Could I interest you in a Nuno Tavares?
We have Timber though.
Yeah with every passing game it becomes Moore and more obvious what Timbers role in this team is supposed to be. Zinchenko is fine voter table teams.
I think Timber will shock people if he comes back fully recovered from his injury
We can get away with Zinchenko against the majority of teams in the league. The main issue is that we struggle to convert the dominance inverted Zinchenko gives us into actual goals (he’s not blameless here but the fault lies mostly with our attack) so we get none of the tangible rewards but most of the risk.
Zinchenko could evolve to play as a 6 the way City played Bernardo there against us, or how Rico Lewis plays. Especially once Partey and Jorginho leave, would give us added tactical variety.
Why not LCM? Lone 6 Zina is a scary defensive proposition lol
I think he has to move forward a bit
