I love him. I really do. But he’s so gifted a 2/10 against a ‘big team’ for the 10th+ time isn’t on. I’d be happy with 6/7s. He needs to get that part of his game tuned.

Again. Brilliant player. Sort it out.

Lol, such an over the top and unwarranted response. Odegaard has been clutch in heaps of big games. He has goals and assists against Spuds, Pool, Utd and Chelsea.

City are the only big 6 team he doesn’t ga against.

He has 3 ga in 5 matches vs Chelsea

    3 in 6 vs Utd

    2 in 6 vs spuds

And 1 in 6 vs pool.

Odegaard has been one of our most clutch players in big games.

    This post is utterly retarded

Just like this entire sub. People were calling for Arteta’s head in the match thread today.

he’s not really a big game player. a few times he’s doing well (mostly vs spurs), but in general when things are tighter and he doesn’t have much time on the ball or space, as in the big games, he struggles in attack.

There are a lot of things to criticize Ødegaard on but the narrative he doesn’t play well against big teams is completely fabricated. He’s been great numerous times against a lot of big teams

10s are always passengers and dependent on their teammates. They need a good 6 to get them the ball, which Jorginho wasn’t today. And they need a good striker and winger to be on the other end of their passes, which Saka at 50 percent and Jesus were not today.

This is worth a post because a player who is held to high standards, the face of the club, cannot slack, even if the everything fails we expect the heart to keep on beating.
