I’m used to open links with left click to remain in the same tab and the mouse middle button to open them in a new tab, so far so good.

However, I recently stumbled with a single page where this doesn’t work and links open in the same tab no matter what. The middle button activates auto-scrolling as if it wasn’t a link and Ctrl+LButton is ignored.

Is there any way to override this site’s behavior?

For context, the page is the cart section of an online store. Links can be opened in a new tab normally anywhere in the store’s site but the cart section.
