Brighton are really, genuinely a remarkable story. I didn’t know the wages were that low.

Tottenham have a heavy incentive bonus system as far as I know. Their base salaries aren’t high but their many bonuses make up for it.

It’s easy to offer bonuses that you’ll never have to pay out for. If you actually imagine winning something it could get expensive.

Wasn’t there a team a few years ago who offered incentives for winning a trophy and they unexpectedly did and bankrupted the club? Was it Portsmouth or someone in Italy?

Let’s not forget that we’re a London club so need to pay London wages. Players wouldn’t survive the cost of living if they were getting Burnley pay in London…

Liverpool has very bonus based wagebill system, if they finish in top4 they’re paying more than us.

How is Chelsea below us? I thought they should be at the top of the list with their 100 man squad!

Difference between past years is our players DESERVE to have these high of wages. The high wages (minus maybe havertz) are all players who have earned that money and none of us are upset abo it what they make

I wonder if Luton players are on a bonus to stay up. £208,000 is still a nice yearly wage.
