Deleting twitter felt so liberating. I mostly used it for Arsenal updates but the amount of shitty political takes on world affairs from people I don’t follow just became too much
One thing I noticed is that people feel the need to have an opinion on anything and everything, no matter how well or ill informed they were.
There’s too much stuff going on in the world at any one time to be able to be an expert at something living like that.
The amount of people you’d see tweet about the PGMOL then Gaza or political issues the next was hilarious. You realise it’s all bollocks. No wonder people are so vitriolic these days.
Haven’t used social media (except reddit, 30 mins a day ish) in 5 years now.
I don’t feel like I’ve missed anything.
