He didn’t bet on Milan games, its based on him using an illegal betting platform, Fagioli took a plea deal to pin it on Tonali and got 8 months, usual ban is 3 years before mitigating circumstances

3 years for betting on other clubs, 5 years if it includes your own, but 50% off if you plead guilty and cooperate.
