Nah this kind of attitude belongs back when football was a competitive sport. Major trophies are bought and paid for now before the season even starts.
They’ve been squeezing the joy out of the sport for years, we need to find it wherever we can now.
Sorry but I want to win every trophy. This is a huge chance for us to win some silverware, given that man city and Tottenham are out (as well as one of man utd and Newcastle going out next round)
With the depth we have it’s not feasible to churn out our top 11 for every competition. I’m sure we’ll try to be competitive, but historically top teams will field less than their best side. It’s up to our players like ESR, Nketiah, Fabio, etc to step up and bring the Carabao Cup to us.
Hopefully West Ham might throw it. Make loads of changes. Make a go of the Europa league.
