After losing to the mighty Wales last night, I remembered just how little fanfare Gvardiol is getting at Man city. He’s the second most expensive defender ever (after Maguire lol) and absolutely no one cares. No one is analysing his performance. Just another number among many.
Reminded me to check and after 2 seasons Grealish has got 22 G/A’s in 87 games (71 starts). He cost over £100m, and he’s 3rd choice England LW after Rashford and his own team mate Foden. When are people going to start rightfully calling this another massive waste of money.
