    I’ll be honest, I’m pretty much a novice in regards to bushcraft, but I’ll chime in and say my Ontario Rat 1. It’s big enough to do a lot of the jobs a fixed blade would do, but takes up less space, and it’s a high quality knife with a budget price tag. I’ve put mine through it’s paces any number of times and it still works just as well as when I got it! I probably wouldn’t use it to baton logs into kindling, but it handles most other really well!

    Somewhere around here I’ve got a mora classic with the carbon blade that I copper plated for rust prevention. I don’t use it a whole ton, but it sure is pretty haha
