There’s no such thing as an educated tankie. They are, like the fascists they detest, a collection of the stupid and easily mislead.
I wouldn’t say uneducated, rather they simply have no real world experience. Fascists and tankies inevitably include a lot of young, angry, neckbeard incels who have a lot of misplaced anger from within their own personal lives. None of them have ever seen anything like the types of polices they call for IRL, so it’s easy for them to talk real big. In reality if they ever saw the types of policies they call for acted out in front of them or at the slightest chance of those polices happening to them, they’d very quickly fold and recant everything.
They like to imagine in their heads that they’d be one of the ones on top. In such a society, even the people with authority are under a lot of control and they’re expected to be draconian.
They ARE fascists.
No, they are tankies. They are both dumb but at least tankies have a theoretically positive goal.
