As of this moment in time, this is the standings:

We are not out of it, but oh buddy we’ve got a mountain to climb. Our max points potential for this season is now at 46. And four other clubs are vying for those two last playoff slots.

What we’d like to see this weekend is:

  • El Paso losing to Memphis 901 FC.
  • Oakland losing to San Diego Loyal SC
  • RGV losing to Sacramento Republic FC
  • Monterey Bay losing to Birmingham Legion FC

And us winning this evening’s against Phoenix. I suppose not all of that needs to happen, if we are just trying to get into slot 8, but it would be damn nice if it did happen. If El Paso wins tonight, we can’t catch them point wise. If Oakland wins, there is still hope. ish. Tonight needs to be a Kings of Chaos kind of night.

Phoenix beat us 1-3 back in June. In April we beat them 2-1 in USOC play. They are beatable, and in their past 5 matches, they have 4 draws and 1 win. Plus our last win was gutsy performance.
