Şenol could’ve subbed him off due to his yellow card, especially after the comfortable 2-0 lead. Rosier is known for being mentally unstable, and it’s not like Beşiktaş are out of alternatives for the right back position. But nope, Şenol simply had to be stubborn like he’s always been.
If only Besiktaş wasn’t so bad, Fenerbahce & Galatasaray are amazing this season though so they will probably do well enough to carry the entire country coefficient
What a huge unexpected performance from Lugano this was! Only their third win abroad in their entire history by the way (One of the other two was Inter in the 90s LOL).
Don’t forget Besiktas narrowly escaped a loss against Club Brugge last matchday by the skin of their teeth and a lot of luck. By all intents and purposes, Club should have won that game.
This loss against Lugano at home imo spells the beginning of the end of their European campaign in what is arguably the UECL’s group of death. The next game against Bodo/Glimt is a must win for them.
Silver linings is that in a group where everyone can win against anyone, a lot can still happen in their favour.
The Turkish are on a mission
Except for Şenol Güneş for some reason, how the hell do you concede 3 goals in the last 10 mins to Lugano in your own stadium?
Honestly, it is on Rosier.

Tbh top 10 should be a consistent thing if we can keep getting 8-10pts every season, no need for a great performance from every single team
But top 7 is out of reach and idk the difference between 8th, 9th and 10th
Besiktas misses the memo
could’ve been higher if Besiktas didn’t lose from a 2-0 lead in the last 9 minutes of the game

I’d argue E and F are also groups of death.
BJK fucked up sadly
