Do you have any recommendations for the matrix client ? (Preferably privacy focused) Should I avoid desktop client or mobile client or having both is fine ?
Hi, I recommend the first-party client: https://element.io/download. Yes having both is fine, and is probably recommended so that you have a way to restore your key if you have to reinstall either client. On Android, if you’re privacy conscious, get the F-Droid version. Since that doesn’t have Google Play Services integrated. Both the desktop version and android version are free and open source software.
