Visited a wildlife park on the weekend and saw this beauty. Sorry for the quality - it decided to stay in the back of its enclosure and I cut the pic to exclude the rest of its dinner.

Even as popular as Snowy photos are, I feel they still don’t do them justice. They’re even more captivating in person, I feel.
Thank you! I enjoyed watching them. And I got very lucky. The weather wasn’t as nice which meant that fewer people were around. The falconers used the opportunity to bring out two younger GHOs they’re currently training. I just made another post dedicated to them.
I heard our new Screech Owl was out at an event yesterday, but we were getting the remains of a big storm, so I passed on that. If he’s our owl, I want to be holding him, not just looking at him anyway! 😁

Absolutely!
I was hoping to have gotten the chance for our Halloween event, but I sadly had conflicting plans. I was heartbroken, but it is something important to my lifelong best friend, so despite the opportunity of owl touching, I couldn’t screw him over like that.
