The period when everyone present agreed that Australia’s productivity was great and reform was happening was not when government and business were working together, but when government and labour were working together.
That was the 80s and early 90s, when productivity grew more than 2 per cent a year versus the current decade average of 0.3 per cent, and minus 0.7 per cent in the 2024-25 financial year.
So Aussies make it worse by voting for the Gina party and moving everything right.
