Before previews for Reality Fracture officially begin, I thought it would be fun to do another of my Duelist-style teasers where I give tiny hints of things to come. Note that I’m only giving you partial information.
First up, here are some things you can expect:
• mechanic that creates a token type no other mechanic has ever created
• instant with “A deck can have any number of cards named CARDNAME.”
• cycle of color hosers for ally colors
• new wish (a card that can put a card outside the game into your hand)
• Hydra, Kraken, and Phoenix each printed in a single color they’ve never been printed before
• some colorwashed spells (akin to Planar Chaos’ bonus sheet)
• new restriction for whether a cycle of dual lands enters tapped
• prepared spell that’s a red version of a popular blue instant (the color it should have been in)
• new creature with a {2/w}{2/u}{2/b}{2/r}{2/g} mana cost
• a card that creates a colorless artifact token named Lotus with “{T}, Sacrifice this token: Add three mana of any one color”
Next, here are some rules text that will be showing up on cards:
• “As long as you’ve scried or surveilled this turn,”
• “that many 5/5 red Dragon creature tokens with flying are created instead.”
• “If that permanent was a legendary enchantment,”
• “Target planeswalker you control deals damage equal to its loyalty”
• “where X is the number of cards that were put into target player’s graveyard from their library this turn.”
• “Exile all but the bottom card of each opponent’s library.”
• “Whenever an opponent casts a spell with mana value 2 or less,”
• “You may cast this card as long as it remains exiled”
• “This creature gets +2/+0 for every seven cards in your graveyard.”
• “Planeswalkers you control aren’t put into their owner’s graveyards for having 0 loyalty.”

Hydra, Kraken, and Phoenix each printed in a single color they’ve never been printed before
I would have said Red for Hydra but the very first Hydras started out in Red. Maro has mentioned that Krakens/Leviathans are very Green in nature and only Blue because of the water connection, Phoenixes seem like they’d fit into White/Black with the self-reanimation

Interesting, I expected that they would have done the ally counterparts to the SoS lands given Hexhaven, but it seems there’s an entirely new set of lands

My bet is a Red version of High Tide

Red version of Divine Visitation it seems. I wish they’d make a Green version given that they’ve said they want Green to focus on big tokens more than lots of small tokens
