To me this one seems fairly obvious.
DJ and fElon create mass chaos in government agencies.
Bad actors / enemy nations decide to cut their losses with agents they believe may be compromised, or near end of useful career, or people defect.
This is why you don’t create chaos for no good reason folks, especially in government.
Why would a bad actor terminate an asset when there’s chaos? Seems more like it’s their time to shine and possibly even use the chaos to get the good guys out of the way…
Time will tell, it’s a frightening development nevertheless.
Terminate agents they may believe are compromised, or near the end of their useful career.
I am doubtful we will ever know the ACTUAL truth unfortunately.
There are cases where conspiracy fills in gaps, but I don’t think it applies here.
This guy was shot by a repeat prowler who’d been reported by other neighbors. McCasland, a retired general, disappeared with nothing but a gun after remarks that he wouldn’t want to keep living if his body and mind continued to deteriorate. Loureiro was murdered by a former classmate who also murdered other former classmates.
There are enough real conspiracies out there. Let’s cut this one loose.
I think people NEED to segregate the mundane from the possibly-not-mundane, so get the suicides, the neighborhood murders, etc, OUT from the set of the machiavellian ones, because I cannot believe that all scientist-deaths are “suspicious”: that’s idiocy.

I have read ONLY the chapter on the disappeared/murdered scientists, in that book, & it seemed to check-out, when I tried verifying what it was telling me…
